Learn more information about how to claim your EFI rewards via the Polkadot.js extension
⚠️IMPORTANT UPDATE: There is no longer a need to manually claim EFI rewards via Polkadot.js.
In a move towards simplifying the process, the claim extrinsic has been called on behalf of all crowdloan contributors.
This means that all EFI rewards from the Efinity Parachain crowdloan have been automatically delivered to the wallets of contributors, eliminating the need for manual claims.
This guide remains available for transparency and reference, but please note that the manual claiming process is no longer necessary.

Required Resources
- Before proceeding, it's important to make sure that the wallet which you used to contribute to the Efinity Crowdloan is accessible through the Polkadot{.js} extension in your browser. Without the wallet, you cannot view your balance and claim your tokens.
- You must also ensure that your Polkadot{.js} is configured to allow use on any chain rather than a specific chain.
- If you see “Polkadot” or any other chain name next to your wallet, it means that your Polkadot{.js} wallet is configured only to allow use on that chain, which means that the Enjin Blockchain Console will not be able to use or even recognize that wallet.
The left image shows "Polkadot" on the upper right section of the wallet, indicating that the Enjin Blockchain Console will not recognize this wallet. The right image shows the correct configuration - no chain is displayed next to the wallet, and the Enjin Blockchain Console can use and recognize this wallet.
Setting your Polkadot{.js} to work with the Enjin Blockchain Console
First, let's make sure the wallet is set to allow use on any chain, so it will be configured correctly to be used with Enjin Blockchain Console:
- Open the Polkadot{.js} extension on your browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
- Click the 3-dot menu where you see your account/wallet. A pop-up should appear.
- Open the drop-down menu at the bottom of the pop-up and select ”Allow use on any chain”.
Claiming your Efinity (EFI) tokens
Now that your wallet is correctly set up and configured to work with the Enjin Blockchain Console, it’s time to claim your EFI.
1. First, head over to the Efinity Explorer page at the Enjin Blockchain Console: console.enjin.io
2. Make sure you are connected to the Efinity Matrixchain.
If the chain selector at the top left corner says anything else other then "Efinity", you need to switch to the Efinity Matrixchain:
2.A. Click on the chain selector button at the top left corner
2.B. Click on "Efinity Matrixchain"
2.C. Once Efinity Matrixchain is selected, tap on "Switch"
The left image shows "Enjin Relaychain" on the chain selector at top left corner, indicating that you are connected to the wrong chain. The right image shows the correct configuration - you are connected to the Efinity Matrixchain and the Enjin Blockchain Console is configured correctly to claim the Crowdloan rewards.
3. On the menu bar, navigate to “Accounts,” and select “EFI reward claims” after the Efinity block explorer successfully loads on your browser.
⚠️ Please note: if the "EFI reward claims" option is missing, you are either not using the right explorer or not connected to the correct chain. make sure you are at console.enjin.io and connected to the Efinity Matrixchain.
3. In the “vested accounts” section, your vested amounts will be shown under the “free” column, and the locked amount you can claim will also be displayed.
⚠️ If you cannot see any amount, please head back to the previous “Required Resources” step and make sure it’s set up correctly.
4. To claim your EFI, click on your wallet to expand it, then click the “Claim” button next to the claimable amount.
5. Click on “Sign and Submit.”
6. A transaction pop-up will appear asking you to sign the transaction. Fill in your wallet password and click “Sign the transaction.”
And that’s it!
After a couple of seconds, the transaction should be approved. Your EFI balance will increase, and the locked amount will decrease based on the amount you've claimed.
As with any other transaction on the blockchain, claiming requires paying a small amount of EFI for the transaction fees. Your first claim for rewards will be without charge. However, any subsequent claims will require you to pay EFI fees.
⚠️ Please note, the vesting schedules were originally formulated to coincide with the expiration of Efinity’s parachain lease. When Efinity was forked onto Enjin Blockchain, the remaining crowdloan rewards were released as part of the fork.
